Nestled between the wineries and rolling hills of Napa, this contemporary ranch style home needed a way to host annual family get-togethers, getaways in the wine country and intimate nights outside enjoying the beautiful northern Californian weather.

The landscape was designed to capture everything a host could need to entertain their guests – pool with swim-up bar, Baja step, hot tub, sunken fire pit lounge and of course a bocce ball court surrounded by olive trees and string lights – this yard truly makes this the perfect wine country getaway.

Located in a high fire risk area it was key for the project to use fire-safe plants and materials and create a buffer surrounding the home
